Has anyone had their party in this room? Does any one have any photos?! I am now concerened about the entrance for this room since you have to walk down some stairs!

I haven't had my wedding yet, but when we were there earlier this year for a showcase we took some pics of the Emerald room. It wasn't fully set up since its not the main room, but you can get an idea. I made an album with the pics in it so you can take a look.
Are you worried about tripping? I don't remember the stairs being steep or tricky to navigate. And there's a ramp for guests who might have trouble with stairs.

That was so nice of you, thanks!! I am worried about our entrance with the stairs :( I loved the room when we saw it but now I am so confused! We did the lounge in there but I don't even know if it looks right!

i'm getting married in the plaza room, but we were torn btwn that room and the emerald room. there is a ramp next to the stairs if you are worried. and at our final meeting they brought us into that room to show us the 'lounge' area they do incase we wanted it, it looks awesome all set up!

everything is always harder to imagine in your head, but if your having second thoughts about any of it you can always ask to come in to see what it looks like all set up. seems like they have an event every night there, or at least setting up for one. each time we've gone in the past month they have a team doing up all the rooms.
but the lounge did look awesome in that room. like a special lil nook :)

We went to a wedding in the Plaza room a couple of weeks ago, but FH sort of 'crashed' the wedding in the Emerald room that night to see what it looked like. They didn't have a lounge, but they were using red uplighting around the room. They didn't really have any other lighting besides the dimmed lights overhead, and IMO the room looked a bit dark. We actually just added a small lighting package with our DJ because of that.
Our photobooth is going to go where the lounge usually goes.
