Crest Hollow - Negotiating

Crest Hollow - Negotiating

Hi - We are thinking about booking Crest Hollow. Just wanted to find out if anyone was successful in negotiating with them, either on the per person fee or on the outdoor CH or outdoor ceremony fees.
We are aiming for a Sept Sat Evening wedding so probably not too much flexibility but hopefully since our min guarantee will be higher we can work something out. Also, is this a place where you can negotiate even further if you pay in cash (i read that some places do and some don't)?

I'm getting married at Riviera and we negotiated to get little things as well...you never know until you ask, and what's the worst they can say , no--so you mine as well ask.

My brother is getting married their in July and they negotiated no problem. My biggest advice about Crest Hollow-offer to pay cash

My friend actually mentioned yesterday that she knew someone who was not successful in negotiating with cash. Did anyone have any luck with that?

Your best bet is to try. Fox Hollow wound up giving us a discount cause my dad is in the NYPD. It's worth a shot.

I am sure all RH's negotiate. All the country clubs, and alot of other places on LI do that. THe point is you have to get whatever you want for your wedding out of the RH, if you dont get it, go somewhere else

Re: Crest Hollow - Negotiating

When I checked it out for the first time, the guy was throwing me everything available for free. He told me if I registered at Fortunoff (which I was planning on anway) you get a free martini bar for CH but he would throw it in for the whole reception. He also told me he would throw in a few more dishes at the CH and also would throw in the tulle that they have set up on the ceiling in some of the rooms (usually costs $500 extra) I wasnt even trying to hash out a contract...I was there with one of my BMs and I told him upfront that I wasnt signing that day at all...he was really nice but it wasnt what I was looking for. Good luck, hth!!!
