Crest Hollow Questions

Hi All,

I'm just starting to post here and am really excited!!! For the Crest Hollow Brides: I'm seriously considering this venue but had some questions.

1. Anyone who has used the Emerald Room.. What was your opinion? In your all opinions, which room is the best? Unfortunately the day i went to see it, sunday, there was an event in the Emerald room, and I live in No. Virginia so I can't just visit CH during the weekdays... I heard someone say it looked like a room in a basement?? Is this true?? In the video they had, it looked great...

2. Im sure this topic has been beaten to death but does anyone find it strage that, if you're doing the ceremony there, that you won't know what room its in until the week of your wedding?? I think the same is for the cocktail hr.

I am having my reception in the Plaza. I think that the emereld was downstairs and I have a lot of elderly people and I didn't want to worry about tripping. My friend's ceremony was in the emereld room and we had to go down steps to go down the aisle.
For me- my cocktail hour and ceremony are outdoors so it didn't bother me so much about the rooms. But, for my friends wedding - what I liked was for cocktail hour, they had enough seats for everyone!

I am having my reception in the Plaza. The Emerald Room is down stairs I went to a wedding in Feb and the Reception was held in that room and it was beautiful, if you like the drop dance floor look than totally go for it. I am having my CH outside and My Ceremony I requested the Scarlett Room (sp).
