I attended a wedding at the Crest Hollow last night. It was a huge Italian wedding, with over 300 guests. I never saw such a room for a wedding. It was so big and the dance floor was so long. It was hard to keep track as to what was going on since the room was so big. You could barely hear the toast or see the bride and the groom from my seat. I wasn't that impressed with the cocktail hour. They ran out of some of the food and it took them a long time to replenish the food. They made up with the dinner. The service was also very good. The band was Full House and they did a great job. You definitely need a band in that room since the room was the as a large as a football field.

Re: Crest Hollow Review
I actually heard about that wedding. That's alot of people. I'm getting married there in May and was at the CHCC today speaking with my banquet manager. He told us about the big wedding last night. I heard that they usually have a great cocktail hour, just hope they don't run out of food at my wedding. I don't plan on having 300 people. Glad to hear that the service was good!

Re: Crest Hollow Review
I'm having my reception there in October. Surprised to hear they ran out of food! (They could've placed a bigger order knowing....) As far as the big room- I guess you can't really expect much for having such a huge reception. I'm trying to keep ours to 150

I think the place is beautiful. The food was very good. The only thing is it is like a wedding factory, but if you can over look that its a nice place.

Re: Crest Hollow Review
Had my wedding there 2 weeks ago. The food NEVER ran out, and I NEVER saw another bride. I did not feel that it was like a factory at all. We had just under 150 people. There are few places on LI that only do one wedding at a time where you can have under 200 people, so you just do what you can. I loved the Crest Hollow and had absolutely no complaints. But, I guess I am biased since the day was perfect for me.
