Crest Hollow's cake

My date is quickly approaching. I just contacted my BM at Crest Hollow to find out about the cake, etc. He said that I won't be able to taste the cake and I don't have to go the bakery. I know I've read on here about some of you ladies just going to the bakery, tasting the cake and adding enchacements through the bakery which is usually cheaper then doing it through the reception hall. I was wondering if anybody has done this for crest hollow's cake and what bakery it was. Thanks!

I'm a CHCC bride I went to dortinis for y tasting. I called set it up with them directly. Was allowed tom pick 6 flavors and they gave a chocolate and vanilla cupcake. Fillings need to be picked before you get tere
When I went to my planning mtg i told them what I wanted. The flavor I wanted isn't included - so it's like 100-150 extra can't remember exactly.
Everything is done at your planning mtg w crest hollow so you can't really get away with trying to do it through bakery for a cheaper rate.

Thanks!! I just called them to schedule my tasting and they told me the same thing that to order I would have to go through CHCC. What flavor did you pick? And can you do different flavors on each tier?
