DH got the clinical strength from the dentist a few weeks before the wedding. To be honest they were too strong and we both stopped after a day or two cuz it hurt our teeth.
I used the ones from the store a few years ago and those worked well.

Re: Crest White Strips
How far in advance of the wedding would you suggest using them? two weeks enough time?

I love them! 2 weeks is plenty as long as you're good about doing it daily!

Re: Crest White Strips
yes the store bought ones work perfectly...as a matter of fact I only did them once a day for 4 days and my teeth got the perfect shade of white. Then I just used the rest for touch ups, I'd do it once every couple of weeks.
I guess it just depends on how white you want your teeth...definitely worth the money!!!

Re: Crest White Strips
I would do them further in advance than than a couple weeks if your going to try them. I've done them before (love them and I'm actually doing the premium 7-day right now) and I remember last time it made some white marks on my teeth, but went away after a week if I remember correctly, point being, allow time for any marks to go away in case you get any.
Also, I do them like every year and a half and they always make my teeth hurt the first day or so, but that also goes away.

Re: Crest White Strips
My dentist is going to do Zoom for me a few weeks before the wedding. I tried Crest White strips and my teeth did get white but they look streaked to me.

The listerine ones works too. With the strips I would do it a head of time since they make your teeth sensitive.

FH and I did these after we got engaged for our epics. Let me tell you! SO UNCOMFORTABLE! They tasted awful and they fall off very easily! I think before our wedding we might invest in getting the tray type whitening where you squeeze the gel in and place the trays on your teeth. I think that would def solve the slipping issue.

yes they work. It is worth it. Sometimes they make my teeth very sensitive, so dont use them the week of ur wedding.

I did this for my wedding- I used the rembrant trays. Honestly I was kicking myself for not using the crest white strips. They don't work as well- the uncomfortableness is worth it in my opinion.
