anyone out there with VERY SENSITIVE teeth ever use the crest white strips?
i just bought the 14-day ones, that youre supposed to wear 2x per day for 30 minutes, with the notion that i will only use them once a day, for maybe 5 days...
what do you think?
eta: i also think my teeth are thin... does anyone else have these problems?

I have extremely sensitive teeth and I still felt it w/ the Crest whitening strips. I would cut your time in half or just do one half hr a day, or 15 min a day times 2.

I actually started using Crest Night Effects, since I was concerned about the sensitivity too. This is the stuff you put on your teeth before bed and it whitens as you sleep. I also used a whitening rinse from Listerine and brushed with Colgate Simply White toothpaste. I definitely saw a difference, but man, it was work! hahaha! But I never felt any sensitivity, and they warn of sensitivity on the package- go figure!
I'm thinking next time I might try the strips anyway...I hated not wearing my retainer at night- even though my teeth are whiter, I don't need them to be crooked again!

i hear ya about the retainer... i have to go back to my orthodontist because my teeth are all over the place :(

I know when I used them in the past, my teeth became more sensitive.

HOWEVER, if i use them, and kill my teeth, ill finally be able to get those davinci veneers that i love !

I think if you wear them once a day, you'll be totally fine!
I think they also make a version of whitestrips for sensitive teeth...not sure how it differs though.

I would start out slow and only do half of what the instructions say if your worried about sensitivity. I went to the dentist over the summer and she gave me 'day white' and holy CRAP, I thought I was literally going to die. I'm going to do 'Zoom' before the wedding and do it in one shot. Oh and also, get yourself some Sensodyne toothpaste to help!!

The first 2 minutes I would put them on I would feel like little shooting pains, but after that I wouldn't feel it. I was pretty sensistive to cold drinks or foods, but that went away after a while. To me it was annoying but bearable. I try to use them about twice a year. There is also a crest strip that you only use for 7 days.
