Quick question for the Cresthollow girls. I know they're super strict with which florist you use, so I was wondering, who did everyone end up going with? I've been reading up on this a lot and so far I think the preferred vendors will be more than okay, but I just wanted to hear from your experiences. TIA!!
Your weddings have all been so beautiful, we love seeing all your pictures so far

Re: Cresthollow Girls--Florist
im not sure if this is still the case but when we booked, CHCC required we use a house florist
we went with flowers by brian because we thought they were the best of what we saw from the required florists. they did a great job but there were some slip-ups. I'm not sure that the other preferred florists at the time - pedestals, jack&rose and spitz & peck would have done a better job.
HTH
ETA: i loved FBB all along but then on my wedding day they did a couple of stupid things - forgot my FG and dad's flowers, put purple hydrangeas instead of burgundy hydrangeas on my cake and my sweetheart table arrangement. and they forgot all the flower petals for the CH tables.
ETA: they went back to get all the missing flowers when i told them they were missing, but i didnt raise the other issues with them

Re: Cresthollow Girls--Florist
Fellow 2012er- our BM told us that we don't have to use one of their vendors as long as we had a waiver, so we booked with a much more affordable florist that FH's aunt has worked with in the past. While our BM was out on sick leave, another BM gave us a song-and-dance about needing to use one of their florists. Almost two months later, her boss finally approved of the waiver. I have also heard of other girls using outside florists, you just have to tell the BM that they have insurance and will sign a waiver. Don't give up, because their house florists charge a ridiculous amount of money!

Re: Cresthollow Girls--Florist
check with your BM to see if you need to use a house florist. We had to and booked flowers by brian...loved them! absolutely no problem and worked with us on pricing. We met with pedestals and had horrible customer service...waiting almost 25 minutes for our first appt, then when we were calling to book them it took 10 days for a return phone call. that was a sign to me of bad customer service, so we went with flowers by brian and am so happy we did. from what i hear, spitz & peck is expensive and ************* has a bad reputation.

Thanks for your help, ladies! I will absolutely check in with my BM and go over these things before I start shopping for a florist.

We went with FBB and I couldn't be happier.
A friend of mine used them for her wedding in July and they forgot a bunch of things so I made sure to stay on top of them. I called them twice the week of the wedding to make sure they had EVERYTHING listed and I had my DOC check up with them too. They didn't forget a thing the day of and all my flowers were gorgeous!!!!
However, they were a little late since they went to the wrong address at first!

i stayed on top of them too - i even gave joseph a $50 giftcard the day before when i went to see my sample to 'make sure everything ran smoothly' - there were still issues - nothing MAJOR but it bothered me

Re: Cresthollow Girls--Florist
My Bm is Sharon and I had no problem picking the florist I wanted. Sent her a note and it was approved right away, when she was out another BM tried to give me a hard time about it but I was not having it...lol
