This is the one I think we are going to get. We saw it over the weekend at Behrs. It also turns into a day bed.

If we were having a girl, I wanted a white crib.
I LOVE this one they have

The prices are pretty good.
They charge a lot for delivery (something like $75 or $80) but since the cribs are in the $300 range, we paid under $450 with tax and shipping.
The only downside is that I ordered it blind because I couldn't find a JC Penney that actually displayed the cribs. I got opinions from other girls that had ordered from them and figured if I hated it, I'd just return it.

But it's really sturdy and looks as good in person as it does in the picture.

Susan - that is the crib I am getting - I am using it for a boy or a girl (I don't know yet what I am having). At first I thought it was too girly, but I will just put blue or neutral colors for bedding and I think it will be ok.

I looked at behr's amd Fover young( on the LIE service road) and we ended up getting it from a place up here in westchester... All the prices from the crib/ furniture by the manufactuer were EXACTLY the same...

Win02- did my friend ever contact you? what about lloking for a place where your moving?

They where pretty good. I really liked the quality. We also checked out BBRU and BBB they where a few dollars cheaper but the quality wasnt as good. The one I posted was about 430.00. I cant believe the $ of dressers!!! For that I thought Behrs was high (700s!!!) They had cradles for under 2 and changing tables for under 2. Oh and they had gorgeous bedding sets but the prices on those where insane!!! One was 600 for a set! CRAZY!

We ordered this one in Maple from JC Penney. We looked in BRU, BBB, Bellini's and Behr's and decided to go with this one. We didn't get to see it in the store either but did have a friend with the same crib and other good experiences from JCP.
If you have a JCP near you that has a catalog desk, you can have it shipped to the store and save a bit on the shipping. I think our shipping was around $35-40.
(ETA: we have a truck, but my friend was able to fit it in her Subaru Forester, no problem)

It arrived without a scratch on it and we are pleased with it so far, hope baby is!

I think it's fine for a boy or girl, but the boy bedding I picked out didn't go with white furniture.
I love the crib though.
It's my favorite out of all the ones I looked at. Hopefully we have a girl next time.

I can tell you NOT to get a crib by Babi Italia!! We have one and felt that it was way too overpriced for what we got!! ($500) There is really nothing great about it at all.
Not to mention, I just checked their website and they had a recall on two of their models because the slats were falling out.

We ordered Pali furniture and the prices were the same at ever place we called.. I guess i am lucky because both sets of grandparents are splitting the bill...But you have to price them out

Thats what we are getting Pali. The seem very well made. Glad to hear the prices are the same.
