Cribs...silly question

What color crib does everyone have? White, light wood or dark cherry wood?

I have silvery/gray furniture in my bedroom. The dressers and the bed. My carpet is a cranberry color. I'm putting the crib in my room, in it's own little area. What color crib would go best with my color scheme?

Sorry if this is a dumb question...

I guess I would start with asking if you plan to move the baby into it's own room at some point. If you plan to move the baby, then I would not necessarily by furniture to match what's in my room.

Go for what's more appealing to you and DH. I personally like the lighter wood.

I agree...if the baby is going to get his/her own room when it is a few months old, I would not match it to your furniture.

Me personally, if its a girl I want to get white furniture and if it a boy I want a honey color (yes, I plan on finding out what I am having...once I get pregnant )

I'm not sure WHEN we're moving but it's not anytime soon. I can always get furniture to match anything I get later. I also wanted to have a section of the bedroom where it's all 'baby'. I was thinking about those things that hang from the ceiling, like a white net thingy....I don't know what they're called. That would be cute around the crib.
