CRINOLINE HELP!!!

hey i was wondering if any of you know if i can safely machine wash my crinoline?? and can i machine dry it?? it was in my FH's car overnite and it smells alil funny lol...i need it for my fitting tomorrow and i dont want my dress to smell!!

p.s..ive heard of dying them with RIT, so i know you have to machine wash it with that stuff, but is it gonna get all crazy? its very full
