Crispani - discuss...

Re: Crispani - discuss...

I have OCD and no patience, and Crispani takes 15 minutes so.........have never had it! Plus I just gave up cheese, so future consumption is not looking good, although I could go cheeseless......

It looks tasty though.

at first, I was taken aback - I thought 'pizza? No Panera, say it ain't so...' The terms 'sell-out' & 'blasphemy' came to mind.

But, being the level headed person I am, I got my myself together and I tried this seemingly unloyal creation.

I wasn't overly impressed - but it is a nice side step from the soup and sandwich combo. I enjoyed the Tomato & Fresh Basil Crispani - but the Three Cheese (on a subsequent visit)... not so much.

I pair it with the Caesar salad. I rather enjoy getting my salad first and then the Panera fairy comes and brings me my Crispani just at the right time for course change.

Can you even beleive that my DH hates Panera?
I know, I know. Please don't judge him, he really is a good man.

You must convert him. Try to woo him with the Crispani

I think one day DH will also hate Panera, but only because I force him to go a little too regularly

good idea, but don't call it a Crispani. Call it pizza, that name would make me want to steer clear of the place.

He's the pickyest ever.
I guess his love for sandwiches is shallow. Not like mine, which runs deep. Like a river. A sandwich river. Of love.

Me too. Plus add soup and it is like heaven. With a french baguette. I am a carb whore, so Panera is SOO for me - if they had a third bread option I might just get it.....

HILARIOUS!! And a brilliant plan! I had my first crispani last night and had a HUGE case of ants in the pants waiting for it!! Great idea to add the salad!
