Cross your fingers...

SO, i just got a email from my boss about some scholarship opportunities for people in the childwelfare field who are looking to start school in 09 for their MSW.

Unfortunately, i do not apply cuz i would be getting my MHC degree (might as well be the same thing)

ANYWAY... i asked her if our agency participates in any type of tuition assistance program so cross your fingers that they do. That would be freaking awesome!!

Btw, if anyone wants the application for the scholarship she sent me and u might qualify FM me ur email and i'll send it to you.

That's absolutely ridiculous. I'm getting so sick of this MA, MSW, MHC garbage. They're all the same freaking degree! They all teach the same thing! So why do we get paid so differently???????

i know! then they throw in the lmsw and lcsw...meanwhile most of the lcsw's were grandfathered in....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I got my MA psych from Jjay. They made some deal with NYS that recent grads from there with that degree only need to take an additional 5 classes for the MHC degree and can have all 42 credits transferred over.
