So i'm curious to know other than booking the RH, what else have you bought off your wedding checklist?
And how/where are you protecting/storing the stuff until the big day? We're all new york brides so if your apartment/house looks anything like mine, then you understand the value of space!

So far I've purchase: -Pocketfolds for invites -All cardstock for invites -All envelops for invites (A7 and 4Bar) -Rhinestones for invites -Card stock for programs -Brads for programs -STD paper -STD magnets -Paper for guest book (diy) -Album for guestbook -Birdcage (centerpiece for escort cards table) -Card stock for escort cards -toss garter
So far I have all this stuff under my desk in my room (still live at home). As the wedding approaches and I get more stuff, I may have to store some stuff at my grandmother's house

FH and I wanted to buy some stuff of our registry. We are only having 75 people at out wedding so I dont think my bridal shower, if I ever have one will be very big. But we thought about it and didnt want to have to worry about storing it or it not working down the line.
I really wanted to buy my cardbox and invitations but I chickened out because I'm scared that the invitations will yellow with time. I'm also famous for losing things or throwing them out on accident.

I know how you feel, I was worried about this too, but I haven't opened the paper that will be used for the inserts because it's still too early (i just like having them in my possession!). I did prep the pocketfolds though with the background mats because its a tidious task that I don't want to worry about doing down the line. However, after I prepped them, they were wrapped up again and stored!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE GOOD!!!!!!!!!! I've done nothing but the RH, church and Photographer/Videographer I think I'm gonna do my card box real soon; just to get it done. I'm just gonna store that and everything else in the basement. I'm not gonna do much more until next year.

i booked the RH and the photographer. i've also started looking at bridesmaids dresses with my MOH cuz i know i wont be able to decide. other than that ive pretty much just researched and browsed things. i had an engagement party so alot of my time was focused on those DIY's

Wow Goldie you have done a lot! I am hesitant on buying any of that b/c we want to buy a house in January and don't want to move it.
Any stuff I do get for like engagement presents are at my parents.
I booked the RH, Photographer & Church....almost ready to book the band!

::biting my finger:: I guess I should slow down a little! It's sorta like i'm working backwards by buying the little things now and booking the big things later. The only big thing i've booked is the RH. I don't know what it is with me..I get ideas and then it's like I have to do it not now, but RIGHT now. LOL.

maybe im just being lazy but i don't feel like dealing w/ booking of anything else until a while.... i booked the RH, church, photo/videographer and DJ and decided to give myself (and my wallet) a break for a while!
good job for getting a jump start though!!

wow! i am really impressed! i have booked the recpetion hall and photographer. thats it. everything eles is in the idea stage right now lol. the problem with storage we are having is friends and family bought us stuff for when we have our own place. luckly my older brother moved out so we have a spare bedroom in my house that it storing all of the stuff, as of right now we care barely walk into it!

Wow!! You have soo much done, I have only booked RH, church and band. Next is the photographer by the end of July. I think I'll really start buying more stuff once 2009 is here

I have the RH and church...I am deliberately chilling out with the rest until the end of 2008. I want to have a wedding-free summer where we can enjoy one another. We browse a lot of ideas, but we're not booking anything else until end of 2008.
