I love it there! They are the nicest! That is the only place that I will stay in Montauk!
I just stayed there last weekend...I would go check it out yourself. The view is gorgeous and from what I understand, the price is good. Just know that your party will be held under a tent, and the rooms there are run down. I also didn't think the area was very large where the reception would be. We enjoyed our stay, but I'm not sure I would want to get married there.
I was at the crows nest 3 weeks ago for dinner. (I got engaged at the lighthouse the next morning at sunrise) The food is really really good! If I could I would do it there but it is too far for me. They do an awesome 3day weekend thing for you Friday night rehearsal wedding Saturday then Saturday night either a beach party or a bbq, and then Sunday bride, groom and parents have brunch on them!
I also got engaged out in Montauk (one year ago next week!) and we went to check out the Crow's nest for our October wedding. While I know people who have gotten married there and guests said it was the best wedding they ever went to and was very different compared to other LI weddings--- the information on costs were very misleading and would have been really expensive, and really expensive for our guests, so we decided against it. The rooms were ok-- just like the hotels on the beach in Montauk.
