So FH has a phone interview in 31 minutes and they are working on the roof of our building which our apartment looks out over. He called me and i couldn't barely hear him cus its sooo loud! And he has to use our land line cus our cells hardly work in LB. he really needs this interview! Im so upset for him right now!

Can he drive someplace more quiet and sit in his car?

Oh no! Too bad it's not your building so he could tell them to shut the hell up...is he calling them or are they calling him?

Re: cr*p
They are calling him. He just said he may be able to go in the half bath and not have it be as loud. They are calling the land line not his cell.

Re: cr*p
He should be proactive. Have him call them NOW to request they call his cell phone instead. He can just explain the situation and they should understand. Then he should drive somewhere where he has a good signal and do it in his car.
GOOD LUCK to him!

Re: cr*p
Maybe have him explain what is going on and ask to either reschedule or if it would be ok to use the cell and go somewhere quiet. That *****... good luck to him!!!

Well when he called he just got the receptionist and didn't get to the person. :(

Re: cr*p
Sorry it didn't go well. Have him write them a letter, explaining the situation, apologizing for the unexpected disturbance, and asking to reschedule the interview for a time that is convenient for them. They may not reschedule or re-do the interview, but it's worth a shot!
Good luck!
