I just found out that Princess Cruise lines, who I'm using for part of my honeymoon allows smoking in their rooms, as do most of the other major cruise liners.
I'm a severe asthmatic and do not do well in enviroments where people have been smoking. I'm scared that I have to cancel my cruise now because I can't risk getting on a ship where they can't move my room if it stinks.
Princess assured me that they clean there rooms well, but I'm not sure if I can trust them.
Anyone have any experience with their room smelling of smoke??
Please help, I'm in a total panic now

Re: Cruise.................
Dont worry you will be fine .... i have been on 12 cruises and all rooms have their own units so you will not get any kind of cigaret smells or odors. .

Re: Cruise.................
I have asthma pretty bad and have done 2 cruises. Each time I didn't smell any smoke. I was on Royal Caribbean, but im not sure i would recommened them for a honeymoon. But I have never heard anyone complain about this before. One of my BMs has asthma extremely bad- and has been put in the hospital many times because of it. She takes cruises allll the time- maybe 2-3 a year and has never complained about her room smelling of smoke. I think u will be just fine. But def stress to them the importance. Even if you didn't have asthma, it would still be gross if it smelled of smoke!
