So now we are thinking about a western caribbean cruise for our honeymoon and found 2, one of the Carnival Legend and the other is on the Norwegian Pearl.
Has anyone been on either ship? Which line would you recommend between Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean?

ive been on norwegian 4 times. Dawn,spirit(twice-NEVER AGAIN), and the Pearl.
The pearl is sooo nice. you will have a blast. If you are going to book NCL , make sure its with the PEARL or the GEM. pearl has a rock climbing wall,bowling alley.. reall nice club with beds, amazing foood

Hey! Cruising is fun! I have been on Norweigen (sun I think it was?)and Royal carribean (voyager and enchantment). Both were wonderful experiences. I would only suggest for your Hm to go with Royal. They had better food chioced and their entertainment was a little better. But honestly we had such a great time on both...its all what you make of it!!! Good luck!

but seriously- FILS have been on al and say the entertainment is best on RC- it that means anything to you.

for hm i would go with royal carribean..carnival is nice, but very family oriented,..i went on a cruise on the legend! it was really nice..

FH and I did a Southern Caribbean Cruise on The Legend. We LOVED it. The ship was awesome and we had a great time. There was always so much to do. The year before that we sailed on the Norwegian Dawn. We felt that the crowd on the Dawn was a little bit older....we didn't have as good a time as we did on the Legend.

I just booked with RC... I originally booked with a C cruise, as I thought it was the better deal. However, once I did that.. ALOT of people came to give me their 'opinions' and printed out websites about the Carnival line. So I was peer pressured to switching to RC .. I dont have any regrets now.

I've never been on a cruise. We actually booked a princess cruise for part of our HM. I found a website cruisecritic.com that has a lot of useful info.
