cruise or island in august? where should i go?

want a lot of adventure like white water rafting, tropics, rain forests or a honeymoon cruise

where should i go in hurricane season
my travel agent keeps pushing Cancun and riveria mia but something seems wrong about it.

she states that i should do cancun first then 4 days in riveria last b/c the hotels do not look as good in cancun . is something wrong with cancun???

I would do a cruise because you have a lot of variety. We loved it. Ive been to many islands and they can get boring

I prefer island hopping over cruises, but that's just my personal preference. My DH loves cruises, so to each his own. That time of year is hurricane season, so make sure you get insurance, most travel agents will give this to you in case of an emergency, and usually if you do get bad weather, they will reimburse you for another trip. HTH

we went to st. lucia because it is below the hurricane belt. AND if you like adventure it has a lot to offer, waterfalls, boating excursions, rain forest, etc. we stayed at the sandals grande and absolutely loved it. good luck!
