has anyone taken a cruise out of NYC? the only cruise line that i know of that goes out of NY is norwegian. is there another one? how was sailing out of NY? we are looking to take a cruise for our 1 year anniversary.

I went to Bermuda on Royal Caribbean out of Bayonne NJ ('port liberty').
It was awesome! We went under the bridge just as the sun was setting, it was so so soooo nice. And the water isn't as rough as everyone makes it out to be.

I did do the Bermuda cruise out of NY from Royal Caribbean and I loved it. I was curious too though about the Norweigan cruises from NY. Has anyone on here gone on it? I just wanted to add that Royal Caribbean still left out of NY when I went on the Bermuda cruise but that was a while ago.,

I went on a cruise out of new york if i am not mistaken it was carnival it was called the princess cruise.

Royal Caribbean stopped leaving from NY last year. Extremely high port charges/taxes!!!!
Now they leave from Bayonne. We went in August. It's the same thing really, it's a realllllly easy process. We left our car there, it was cheap to park, and it's guarded. I highly recommend it!
eta: we went 8/15-21 or 22nd. The weather was INCREDIBLE! If you decide to go to Bermuda, drop me an FM, I have lots of info on the best beaches.

We took our Royal Caribbean cruise out of Bayonne, NJ.. it was originally supposed to leave from NY but then they relocated it a few months before we departed
We took the Voyager of the Seas ,a 10-day Caribbean cruise. It was AWESOME (I wish I were there right now )

We left out of NY on Pacific Princess to Bermuda..It was great!!
My parents went this past May on Norweigan Dawn out of NY to the Bahamas & FL & they had an amazing time...They are trying to rebook for Easter week!
