I have done, princess...royal caribbean, and carnival and am doing Celebrity for the honeymoon...
From what I have experienced...royal is the best...Princess is a 'step above' possibly with food- BUT it was an older crowd- however I was also 18 years old at the time...
we had fun on carnival- new years eve cruise... BUT having been able to compare it to two other cruises the food was not great...It was Fhs first cruise and loved it...
Celebrity I have heard is WONDERFUl..Wait and see !

I went on carnival for a bachelorette party last eyar. Lots of fun, but a real party crowd, not quite and ormantic.
My parents always go on Norwegian and they love it, especially the freestyle dining. You can eat whenever and alone not at an assigned time with a table of strangers.

Celebrity - I went on two of them and you are treated like royalty i loved the whole experience.
I would not recommen carnival though

I have been on many cruises (9) so far and have one booked for HM. We LOVE Carnival that is my favorite cruise line. My experience has been great! Amazing food, service ect. Have also been on Norwegian which was nice. and recently went on Princess which was ok. Boss went on Royal Carribean which is much pricer and said the food was terrible! I say Carnival...

My parents were very unhappy with NCL the Pride of Aloha. Pride of America is supposed to be much better.

I've done carnival and had a great time,it's more of a party boat for our honeymoon we are doin princess out of new york to turks and caicos,bermuda ,st.thomas and puerto rico. I highly reccomend a balcony room it is so nice

I met my fiancee on a Carnival cruise...we all had a blast...one big party...I thought it was great...we are trying Celebrity for our honeymoon...

I went on a Carnival cruise, and while I didn't think the food was bad at the sit down dinner, the buffets were gross. The people on the ship were also really weird. I felt like all the passengers were morbidly obese. On the plus side, I felt like the hottest person on the ship the entire time

We went on Norwegian out of NYC last year and loved it! Freestyle is the best. No structured meal times or tables. You eat what you want when you want.

Personally I think this is a really subjective question & everyone is going to have a different opinion & it depends on what people were personally looking for on a cruise.
I've been on 7 cruises including Royal Carribean, Carnival and Norwegian and believe each has its pro's & cons.
