Cruise Question....

FH and I have never been on a Cruise and are now thinking of doing one for our HM... Can any of you ladies who have been on cruises recommend your favorites?

they are AMAZING!!!!!!!! i thoroughly recommend them!
if you are planning on staying in the carribean, do a Royal Carribbean - they have so many on board activities! and now is the time to buy because so many of the tickets are dirt cheap now! Also, around the time you get married, its not really peak season anymore so you should be able to get them for cheaper, if not, FM me because i have several sites that give you awesome deals instead of booking directly with the company itself!
you can experience so many different countries/cities and still have a world class hotel at your fingertips! and food is included!!!!!!!!!

i though you guys were going to do a 'snowy' HM?

I would DEFINITELY saw Norweigan! They have 'freestyle dining' so you can eat whenever you want with whoever you want--no set time, and you don't have to eat with other people if you don't want to! I wanted to do a cruise for our HM but FH wanted to do something new, since we've been on cruises before. They are awesome!

Also, I would recommend not going on the cruise that only goes to Port Cavaveral, Nassau- Bahamas and Great Stirrup Cay--the ports of call weren't that great. I would say do one to Mexico or the Carribean!

I totally agree with this! if you are going to the Carribean, then do the southern islands, like Aruba, St. Lucia, St. Croix, St. Thomas, St. Marteen (the Dutch side)..etc...or Mexico!

those islands in the Bahamas really kinda suck

We want to do a Carribbean Cruise but Im also worried about Hurrican Season, Our Wedding is September..

What are the 'safe' months?

I love cruises! I've only done royal carribean twice but would def do more in the future!

technically, Hurricane season in from May to November but you can't worry about stuff like that. buy trip insurance and your covered against natural disasters. although the islands in the southern carribean do not get hit by hurrican'e like the bahamas and like PR do.

anything can go wrong at any time, so just think positive and have fun!

FH and I cruise ALL the time! We've been on about 6 together. I personally love them, but you need to be someone that doesn't mind being held to a schedule. FH loves it bc he can eat as much as he wants, no questions asked. Feel free to FM me if you have any questions!

love norweigan too. we went to bermuda this past year from NYC. that was awesome bc you didn't have to fly anywhere. Check out my FB pics when you have a chance... i totally recommend that trip!!! Plus you stay in bermuda for 3 days. HTH!

Now I gotta figure out what cruise line and to where lol

i've only been on one cruise and we did an eastern carribean cruise. i believe we hit up belize, cozumel, key west and grand cayman
