cruise review with pics

I posted earlier how the airport lost our luggage, I got mine on day 5, DH did not get his till we got home. besides that we had a great time. RCCL, Splendor of the seas. we left from tampa, went to grand cayman( a real waste, it was hit by the hurricane really hard), costa maya(a great time), belize(would not go back, then had guerillas and rebels fighting so excrusions were canceled, but we did see monkeys in trees), and cozemel(we did an all you can drink package, it was a great time)

very nice. It looks like you had a nice time despite the luggage problem! I've been on Adventure of the Seas and LOVED IT! Thanks for sharing!

I am dying to go on adventure of the seas, this one was our first smaller ship, it was not bad, but def different from explorer and voyager

We go on Mariner in 89 days! Can't wait....but, I think I'll put a GPS on my luggage I don't know what I'd do! Last time I took a suitcase just for my shoes. I wouldn't mind if they lost that suitcase but my clothes OMG.....looks like you coped pretty well! Alcohol can do that.

I just heard on CSNBC they just sent Mariner back to shore due to flu-like symptoms on board.

Did you go into Senior Frogs? Where? We went in CanCun, and had a blast!

we went back that night to senor frogs and had a great time.. it was in cozemel. the music was great, the weather was great and the shot girls were so funny.

we learned to take 3 suitcases and put a little of everything in each one. lol. no more his and mine, or just shoes.. we are going to mix it all up next time

Janice , what awesome pics! You and your DH are such a cute couple And it looks like you, Dh and friends had a terrific time despite all the 'agita' and mishaps ..

I loved cruises .. we took RC Voyager of the Seas for our HM - what an amazing vacation. I wanna take another cruise so bad!!

Hey Janice I was wondering if you could tellme how Grand Cayman looked. Me and DH went there awhile back and loved it..but our hotel was destroyed and i heard most of the island was.....just wondering if you could fill me in on what you saw.

everyone told us it was the greatest beach, so we were looking so foward to being there. It is tons of broke down trees, abandoned hotels, and you could tell the people there had a stressful year. Beach attendents robbed us blind for broken umbrellas, gas prices were way up so we could not get a taxi for the two of us to go to the turtle farm, they take a minimum of 6 people. there was barely any beach or sand, and the sand was rough. and then we saw a dog get hit by a car so I got upset, DH felt bad about that and the not being able to get to the turtle farm, and me not having any clothes that he got me a nice new ring. hehe. I will look thru pics tonight to see if I have debris pics. on the upside, the port in mexico is only 3 yrs old, costa maya..it is gorgeous and they know exactly what they are doing there to make sure you have a great time.
