cruise upgrades??

yup! i know with ncl, if you call them like a few weeks closer to the sial date and ask for an upgrade, the will give u one.. they might offer u to a balcony if ur in a state room for an additional fee which is much less than what it was originally being sold for.

ive been upgaded form a shoebox stateroom to a stateroom with a window.. (the windshield of the ship actuallly being my window--which was HORRRRRRRRRRIBLE..cuz they wash the windows with power sprinkler things at 5 AM )

but yea, totally call whoever u booked with and ask. if u book directly with the cruiseline, they sometimes give u 'THE CALL' where they offer u an amazing upgrade deal than no1 every turns down lol

we are in the superior oceanview right now but id like the balcony

they should be able to upgrade u, if not for free..def for like 150$ more or something..unless its completely sold out.

the problem with this is that often times, the rooms that have not been sold, are the ones either all the way at the front, or all the way in the back of the ship

so, while they are more $$; to me, they are less desirable; i like being in the middle

When I went on a cruise with FH and my family, we had 3 rooms all- together. FH and I had booked a balcony room and the other two rooms were staterooms, when we got there..everyone else was upgraded to a balcony. ****** for FH and I because we paid more but great for everyone else. We later found out that the ship we were on was something like 80% balcony rooms..so most people ended up with upgrades...we were on the Carnival Legend, but you can check your ship online, or even call a travel agent to see what they can do for you..good luck!!!
