IS ANYONE GOING ON A CRUISE FOR THEIR HONEYMOON? IF SO WHERE DID YOU BOOK IT THROUGH? WAS IT REASONABLE?

Re: CRUISES

I booked my cruise with Liberty Travel in Smithown. I am going on a 7 day Southern Carribbean Cruise leaving from PR and then on the way back I am staying at the Marriot in PR for a couple of days. It cost us 3100.00.

We're going on a 7-night Celebrity cruise to Bermuda. The cost was $1350 per person. That does not include alcohol or excursions, but I still think it's a great deal.

I used Emily at Liberty Travel... First class airfare non-stop from NYC to San Juan, 7 day cruise from San Juan (minisuite), 5 nights at the Wyndham El Conquistador in Puerto Rico (with the meal plan), and first class air on the return flight, all for about $5500.

Re: CRUISES

I have a really good wholesale cruise agent that I always use when I book cruises...she is much lower than every other place I call. FM if you want her info.

We are also going on cruise straight from NY. Norweigen Cruise Lines to Bahamas. We booked through Dawn at Cruise One and she was really helpful. Originally we had booked an all inclusive w/ her and the airline cancelled one of our return flights and we would have been stuck w/ a 5 hour lay over. I was not happy and Dawn got us out of it for $0.

Re: CRUISES

My family used to use Liberty Travel until Dad found Best Price Cruises They are amazing. Now my family, and many of my friends are using best price.

Check out - cruisecritic The general rule it seems there is that Online TA will ALWAYS save you money - BUT some are NOT comfortable with booking with an online agent even if they can talk to someone - so you spend more with a TA for confort.

We are spending just under 3K (1200pp - rate on Celebrity at time of booking was 1600- now going for over 2100) for a sky suite on the century (celebrity cruises) - with a butler, including airfare, and two nights at the Hyatt pier 66 in FLL (booked air and hotel separetly). My friends paid $700PP includes port and tax charges. We saved a few hundred $ pp by booking with them that the travel agents couldn't match. You can book online or call and speak to an agent (who can usually do better than the phone price) I can give you her extension between family and friends we have booked more than 25 cruise with her in 2 years.

This will be my 12th cruise so if you have any questions I would be happy to help.

Re: CRUISES

We took a 7-day Southern Caribbean Cruise on the Carnival Destiny and had a blast! This was our 4th cruise together, so we wanted to stick with what we loved best.

We used www.cruise411.com Their prices can't be beat. I've used them twice and saved over $1,000!

Good Luck with your search!
