Cruises

Which cruise lines are really good and don't cost an arm and a leg?I've never been on a cruise but was thinking about it for my honeymoon. I wanted to go on a cruise during December of 2009 since i saw it was a bit cheaper than January what we had originally planned. Any info would be great..thanks

Re: Cruises

Ive been on carnival twice and royal carribean once... we're going on norwegian for the first time for our HM...

i orginally had booked royal for our HM, but for some strange reason, i decided to look back into the cruises for when we're going and found a norwegian one that was cheaper! almost same itinerary too... so i switched it

out of all those, i would say carnival is the most inexpensive (but i personally wouldnt pick it for our HM... a bit too crazy)... then it seems like norwegian and next royal being the highest out of those 3... at least in my experience...

if you find a cruise you like, go through cruisecompete.com and get quotes... they will compete for your business and give you the best prices around... i used an online TA from there and she switched my booking with no problems... her name is mary and she is from cruises-n-more.com

NORWEGIAN!! We had the BEST time and it was pretty affordable. We would go again in a heartbeat.

The thing we loved about it is their freestyle dining. You can eat whenever and wherever. You don't have to rush back from your activities to make 6:00 dinner. You also can sit by yourselves or with ppl if you meet some... you don't just get stuck next to strangers the whole trip.

The other thing that is great is most of the restaurants have a dress code (dress casual, nothing fancy by anymeans except on the formal night which is fun) but you arn't sitting next to a guy in a wifebeater for dinner like some other cruises.

FM me if you have other questions!
