You'll love it, its a pretty new ship when i went it was only its 3 excursion out. The ship is HUGE!!!! i got engaged on that cruise

What are your excursions?

ME TOO!!!!!!!!! i went july 22nd to 29th, was it 10 days and shortened to 7 days because of the mishap the week before? ours was supposed to be 10 days but instead of leaving a few days before we were supposed to they had to post-pone. If not then you probably left same day i back bc others were boarding that day so u left the 29th

can i say that it was my first time on a cruise and i have a fear of large bodies of water and ships so from when we booked it MONTHS before i was a bit afraid lol. Yeah 2 days before our cruise to see that didn't help. But it was weird bc after the initial shock i wasn't afraid. I just wanted to go on the vacation so bad, we had been waiting 4 months, plus i had a feeling fh was going to propose hahaha so i was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and was happy when it was only delayed 2 days. The first night on the ship every time it moved alot i would turn to fh and ask 'is that normal'(since hes been on cruises before) needless to say i probably asked 50x that night ok maybe the first 2 nights but after i was fine. I figured can it really happen two times in a row hahahaha

yeah a bit scary and i was surprised bc thought ALOT of ppl would cancel, we called and asked if we can upgrade to suites for the inconvenience they said yes if theres any cancellations and there werent any. Infact on the ship we found out that hardly anybody cancelled.

yeah it worked out thank god. Fh planned all along to propose on the 22nd bc thats his number, and that was the day we boarded so he did it that night. If it was a day delayed i wonder what he would've done? im gonna ask but FMIL is also on top of things and the same day had her travel agent put us on hold for a trip to aruba at a hotel hahahaha so we would've been somewhere regardless i think.

I loved it though and had a great time, gorgeous ship

Sounds like FMIL was on her game!! Definitely a great ship! FH wanted to book it for our HM, but I convinced him to try something new.
Alright I'm off to bed...FH asked me to come to bed to cuddle...so cute!

weve done 6 cruises fo far all have been ncl and royal caribbean (did RC for our honeymoon)

RC has A LOT more things to do on the ship itself!!! Its awesome!!! NCL has the freestyle cruising which i loved! Both are good imo

Thats another great thing, it leaves out of ny so that was so much more convenient. Its in red hook brooklyn and for me took 15 minutes to get to. Didn't have to fly elsewhere and spend more money for flights and all that.

Exactly!!! We go with FH's parents and FMIL is afraid of flying, so its pefect for us. Also, since I live on the East side of Manhattan, it was a breeze getting out to Red Hook in a cab...once we found one who could find it!!! LOL

yeah i took the bqe from astoria and its just a few short exits away. Yeah we had ordered vans bc there were 12 of us but not all went in same vans. At first it is a little confusing down there but luckily you start seeing signs for it.

We are going on the Royal Caribbean Mediterranean cruise. I have been on Royal Caribbean 2x and Carnival once and nothing beats Royal Caribbean. I can't wait till we go!
