i have baskets for these.... are you going to have someone hand them out? or leave them in the basket for peoplet to choose. you may laugh, but i made 100 programs, 50 tear packs and 100 rose petal cones. 170 people are coming...
is this ok?

Jessica, I was going to ask Laura and her associate Jill (I think that is her name) to be in charge of the rose cones.
I don't think we are doing programs or cry packs.
Have you met Laura's associate?

I am doing baskets for the programs and for the ribbon wands. Here's my plan...
Groomsmen will put two baskets with the programs on the first two pews when you enter the center door of the church when they first arrive. This way guests can help themselves as they enter. They will remain there until the end of the ceremony. A lot of times people don't realize they are there or what they are until they see someone else with them - so they can feel free to go back and get them before the ceremony or take one on their way out. Right before we leave the groomsmen will go back and do a sweep through of the church to collect any left behind.
The bridesmaids will hand out the ribbon wands after the ceremony while we are on the receiving line.

if you have a wedding planner, definitely have them coordinate that... no worries there
We didn't have a wedding coordinator but someone at our church took care of handing out the bubbles
According to your numbers you definitely have MORE than enough programs, petal cones and cry packs

I had my cousins give them out. They were so excited to be helping.
ETA - your numbers sound right. It's usually only the women that take them.

just so you know this post was from 2004. But crypacks are packets of tissues you hand out at your ceremony usually with some wedding design or saying on the packet

This post is really old, but cry packs are little packs of tissues you hand out at the ceremony in case people need them. Do a search and find a more recent post, they may have pictures.
