Crying on the LIE

I know what song NOT to use with my dad... 'In My Daughter's Eyes'.... geez, I was bawling - it was the first time I ever heard it!

PS - I just found out that my church is having construction on the altar (it's sinking)....supposedly my wedding is the second weekend where it will be DONE....but if anyone knows how construction goes, i am reallllllly nervous.... I need to call the priest but I KNOW he is going to tell me not to worry about it. But how can I not be?

I WOULD CALL JUST TO LET THEM GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHEN AND HOW FAST THIS IS GOING TO BE FIXED, BECAUSE IN A CONTRUCTION AT A CHURCH TAKES FOREVER...ESPECIALLY IF THEY DON'T HAVE THE FUNDS AVAILABLE. SOME CHURCHES ARE LIKE THAT. I WOULD CALL. OH YOU HAVE TO HERE BUTTERFLY KISSES. I KNOW MY FATHER IS GOING TO BAWL. LOL.

Too funny!!! I cried hysterically a few weeks ago on the Belt Parkway to Celine Dion's 'Because You Loved Me'. I didn't even realize it was affecting me until I got up to a hysterical bawl!!! I'm going to dedicate it to my mom and sister (in the program - don't think I could get through it publicly dancing).

Re: Crying on the LIE

My brother got married at St. Barnabas in Bellmore & they started construction 2 years prior...They told them it would be all done...Sure enough the day of the wedding, there was still scaffolding on the side of the building & only 1 door in the front opened...My SIL was not happy!!!

I cannot listen to Butterfly Kisses. Gets me all the time. I'm using Daddy's Little Girl.

THATS THE SONG! It was playing last night when my mom and I went dress shopping! God, it was awful! Mom balled for a good ten minutes!

I cry to 'Dance with My Father'. I mean I am sick of hearing it but knowing that my father will not live to dance with me at my wedding breaks my heart.

Same here. I cry a lot in the car these days....way too emotional to deal!

Crying is how I picked my Father-Daughter song. I was listening to a bunch of them and heard 'My Little Girl' by Steve Kirwin and started bawling. I still can't listen to it without crying, but it was perfect.
