does anyone know anything about the effects of cryosurgery on fertility? i am reading mixed things on the internet. my dr. said sometimes it can scar the cervix and make ttc more difficult....i had it done about 4 years ago and am worried that i nay have damaged something....

I had it done about 8-9 years ago. I am PG now and I only had unprotected sex 2 times....so it didn't affect my fertility at all!! Good luck..baby dust!!!

I had cryosurgery over 10 years ago.. I had also read all the literature and articles that it 'might' weaken the cervix, etc, but my ob/gyn has consistently reassured me that in most cases it doesn't factor into future fertility and TTC on a whole

I had it about 5 years ago and my OBGYN was confident that it would not lessen my chances...don't worry

One more story...I had cryo twice, I guess about five years ago, and I became pregnant on the first try.
