Does anyone know where I can buy Crystal beads in bulk? I am looking to make Crystal Strands to hang from my Centerpieces.
I asked the florist...they said I would have to bring in my own, they don't have them.
They are very expensive, I can't find anything less than $1.00 a piece. I would need at least 14mm up to 20mm.

I asked something similar before and someone suggested that if you can get into Manhattan, there are a lot of bead stores that sell in bulk that are not that expensive. I haven't gone yet but i will sometime this week. I actually work on 42nd street so i'll probably walk and look during my lunch or after work. I'll post and let everyone know what i find.

I work on 42nd too! I stopped by one this morning on my way in. on 40th or 41st between 6th and 7th...but I was hoping to find some a bit cheaper. The least expensive I found was 10mm balls at $1.00 a piece.

i had crystals but florist provided them.
Honestly $1 a piece doesnt sound bad. I bought rhinestone buckles for invites at $1 each at a wholesale place. So one of those long strands with crystals will be about that much.
did you check wholesale prices online

I am thinking I would need 10 to a stand, at least 4-5 strands a centerpiece...that's $50 x 14 centerpieces, comes out to $700 for just crystals. I think that's a bit expensive.
That would be on top of the $125 a centepiece they are already charging me.
Who was your florist? Maybe I can just use a florist that already has them.

oh it is expensive when you break it down, i am sure. Just saying not sure where they would sell it for less, but definitely try wholesale places bc maybe you can buy in bulk for a lot less
i used pedestals and i wasnt charged extra for the crystals

ebay is where I got mine. I ordered them from the UK and got 400 beads for like $2.30- $5.90 depending ont he auction.

Why don't you get together and buy a set and all use them for your weddings? I would jump in on the crystal party too but I want pearls...
