Cucpake Favors...tell me what you think

Hi girls

I want Cupcakes as my favors, but thinking about ways to put them out.

Here are two options:

1- Cupcakes in favor box with ribbon and name tag...this will serve as a place card with the table seating for guest to bring with them to the table.

2 - And the traditional way...leaving the cupcake in the favor boxes on the table.

I like them more as a traditional favor but I'd have no problem if it doubled as the placecard

i like the traditional idea too...only bc they are perishables you dont want them transported so much... you can put them on a cupcake tower or stand or a nice box or basket and hand out to everyone as they leave too.

As a placecard - no.
Remember that your guests will have to pick them up then and carry them around during the cocktail hour.

I think if a guest has to pick it up and carry it around, there is a good chance they'll leave it somewhere and forget what they did with it.

I'd go with the traditional favor idea. I feel like something with frosting (cream, milk product) should not be carried around and transported about so much.

Also, I just feel like that may turn into a mess.

I think if you made them also the placecard, people might have a hard time seeing the tag and reading it, especially elderly people. So I think you should just put them on the table - jmo

I think they will be pretty already on the tables & you don't want them to be bounced around too much

Cool idea! Check out Crumbs. They have the cutest mini cupcakes & they come in funky different flavors & they are DEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-LISH!

I say the more traditional way on the table, this way they are not being transported back and forth and when the guest finally open the box, hopefully they will still look pretty

Traditional is better- I second that transporting food (even covered food) around isn't a good idea!

Use it as a favor. I think that sounds like the better way.

I am using them as part of the favor. I'm having them placed in the middle of the plate at the reception

I agree, I would def. loose it.
