i plan on doing cups...my store told me it is a better option (unless you have a huge chest which i dont lol) i didnt hear about armpit fat with a bra, but i did hear that you arent as comfortable bc the bra can start to drop a bit while the dress doesnt plus you have to worry about the bra showing in pics

I heard long line strapless bras may give the appearance of armpit fat. Has anyone originally thought they would use one but ended up just putting cups in their dress? Do the cups give support? I have a corset back on my dress!
I got the cups bc i do not want to be bothered by a bra....
that being said.... the off the shoulder straps my dress had didn't fit right so the altered them for me and now all you see is armpit fat and everyone thinks im insane saying my armpits are fat i had no idea armpits could have muffin top... w t f?!?!?! i don't have this in normal tanks, etc idk what happened but im kinda stuck with it now. thankfully i have long hair... hoping this will cover my armpit muffin top

I think it also depends on the size of your tatas! I've heard from friends who have huge bazongas that cups just did not support enough. But if you are on the smaller side, cups should be good.
I had cups put in my MOH dress for my sisters wedding and they were perfect for me!

I have a larger chest so I dont know...will the seamstresses help you? I did not go out shopping for any speacialty bras because I have no clue what to do..I already have a longline strapless from another wedding. I don't understand how you can be prepared if you have no idea how your dress fits and what your chest will look like in it!

I LOLed at 'bazongas'
I was gonna just buy a new strapless because I feel uncomfortable without a bra (I have a very small chest and I NEED one) but I'm thinking maybbbeee cups sewn into the dress would be better? Any smaller girls out there think that cups would add enough oommph?
Plus, I have this fear that my dress will fall down and if I have no bra on I'll expose myself to all of my guests

Re: Cups or strapless bra
depends on how big your boobs are and what material your dress is....my moms dress is taffeta and she has a really big chest...theres no way cups would have kept her in, that matieral is so floppy it would probably fall down as my mom put it if it is sucking in your fat it has to come out somewhere, it gave my mom extra backfat.. my chest is regular size and my dress has a built in corsett that you can put on several different notches, i got cups put in cause there was existing support and I would not pop out regardless.....but if your dress doesnt have much support thats really the only option if you are skinny it will have no affect but if its sucking you in it will have to come out somewhere lol

I haven't had my first fitting yet, but I can't imagine wanting a long bra. It seems not only uncomfortable but completely unsexy!

Re: Cups or strapless bra
I went to the city to get a new long line bra and it pushed me up too much, giving me 'boob fat', not armpit fat, so the seamstresses said no bra, no cups, which is what the lady at the store said to me originally. My gown has a lot of boning and a corset back but I am REALLY nervous about this since I am a DD cup.

I would totally recommend using cups instead of a bra.

Re: Cups or strapless bra
I am totally using a strapless bra, and I'm only a 32B. I've used cups before (in bridesmaid dresses) and I just never feel like it's enough.
