We are planning on doing red velvet cupcakes as favors. I need to start calling bakeries for pricing info but have no idea where to start. Does anyone know a bakery or someone that makes good red velvet cupcakes??

Try Got Cupckaes in Bellmore. They opened a few months ago and have some of the best red velvets Ive tasted in awhile!

In Queens...I recommend Martha's Country Bakery!! Their red velvets are yummy!! They have 3 locations. One in Astoria, one in Forest Hills and one in Bayside.

I used someone for my engagement party who made me an amazing red velvet cake for my FH. It was delicious! and her priced were reasonable. She works out of her house and delivers to you or the venue. FM me if you want her info. HTH

LuLu's in Westchester is a complete rip off! They wanted to charge us $500 for a simple round engagement party cake!! No thank you!
Try A Taste of Home. We got our wedding cake there. It was phenomenal!

IF you are looking for red velet cupcakes i recommend Sweet Melissa's Cakes she is doing my enagament cupcakes and my wedding cake her stuff taste amazing you cant go wrong.Plus she is a li weddings vendor. CHeck her out.

The Sweet Peace bakery in Lynbrook makes RIDICULOUSLY delicious red velvet cupcakes :) We actually had their cupcakes at my shower and they are soooooooo good!

I have a close friend & co-worker who is an AMAZING baker. She has a website- www.nadiasdolci.com
Her prices are fantastic and her attention to detail is awesome! On the page called 'cakes' down toward the bottom are many cupcake photos but she will create anything you want!
I've probably ordered from her 12 times over the last 3 years and every time all the guests ask me who made this it's so yummy!!!
