I am doing a donation as a favor but I wanted to do something small also.. was thinking of cupcakes! Does anyone know what the average cost is, or, if you are doing another small treats (ie-hershey kisses) how much that worked out to PP?
TIA!

Re: cupcake cost
I am doing a donation with a small edible favor as well. I priced out cupcakes at sugar Sweet sunshine in the city (their cupcakes are amazing) them emailed me back telling me that it is 1.50 each without packaging. they can also get little boxes and stuff for them and package them for you but that is extra. I think with packaging they were offering it was something like 4.00 per cupcake but i am sure you can find your own packaging for less. good luck

Re: cupcake cost
i am probably going with hershey kisses or ferraro rocher candies because its cheaper...i want the main focus to be the donation but i think the cupcake idea is super cute if it is in your budget to do both!

Re: cupcake cost
if you need boxes, i just found this website-im planning on doing doing cupcakes as well!
I love the sweet treat as a take with... I was thinking of picking my moms favorite receipe that she makes- which is her sugar cookies and making a whole bunch and then wrapping them in celaphan and giving those out at the end..... I tihnk that would be really cheap and easy to do...

Re: cupcake cost
I did cupcakes for e-party. Since i bought so many the guy gave them to me for less each cupcake. Normally its like $2.50 each but he gave them to me for around $1 each.

The price for the cupcakes without packaging is great. I'm sure you can find cheaper packing online.

Re: cupcake cost
Riesterer's in Garden City/West Hempstead did red velvet cupcakes for my shower with pretty little flowers on top. I think they were a $1.00 a cupcake and people thought they were from the cupcake cafe from NYC.
