Cupcake Favor Question....

so we're definitly doing a donation as a favor but i also wanted to give guest cupcakes too from the bakery down the street from me. they're delicioussss!!!!!!!!!!!!

so my question is, if i am to box the cupcakes and do all that cupcake favor preparations...... when do i pick up the cupcakes? i dont want them to taste old and gross...

the wedding is on a friday, if i pick em up wednesday is that too far ahead? them thursdays the rehearsal... idk what to do....

I would have someone pick them up for you Thursday afternoon so you have some time to package them.

Wednesday might be too far ahead. I would speak to the bakery and see what they suggest. I'm sure they'll give you a recommendation and tell you the best way to store them, etc.

can a DOC do all this? or is she only limited to doing stuff on the day of the actual wedding? I am in the same boat - I have a ton of lilttle DYI things and favors I want to place on the tables but have no time to actually set it all up or pick them up!

i dont have a DOC, its just me really. i guess ill just talk to the bakery and see what they suggest. maybe thursday should be okay i hope.
