I wanted to see if anyone knew of a great place to get cupcakes made. I do not want a traditional wedding cake but instead I want cupcakes... any ideas?

I don't know how much you want to spend but there is a few places in manhattan that specialize in cupcakes, it's all they make. But they're about $3.50 a cup cake, I think the name of the one I'm thinking of is crumbs
I'm getting hungry just thinking about it, here is their website

Just checked it out.. yum.. looks great! How much are wedding cakes.. is $3.50 a cupcake too much??
I've seen bakeries charge $7 a slice for the wedding cake so i don't think $3.50 a cupcake is that bad! And I just checked the website, only the specialty cupcakes are that much, everything else is cheaper.
Hey if you want info FM me...I gave out cupcakes as favors for my e-party...I tried all the popular cupcake places such as magnolias, buttercup and all those big named places and wasn't impressed...the place i got them from has amazing cupcakes seriously, so delicious...And theyhave everything, regular cupcakes, red velvet, oreo, peanut butter, pistachio and a bunch more...I paid just a little over $1 for each cupcake since i bought so many they gave me a deal.

Seriously it is so good, best cupcakes...i even had fondant cupcakes there and i couldn't believe how delicious the fondant is which i know you know how bad it usually tastes...Infact i really loved the fondant, they made a strawberry fondant and was sweet and tasty.

When my friend got engaged a few weeks ago, we went out to a lounge and reserved a table, well i bought a cake from this bakery to the place, and she kept asking me about the cake bc she said it was the best cake shes ever had, and everyone kept asking me about it bc of how good it was

Yeah its on ditmars boulevard and 37th street just in case you're around the area. Hmmmm good question, maybe, that would explain why it was so good.

I'm not sure yet, one of my roommates from college is in the hospital and one of our other roommates (from college) lives in astoria and I'm going there to pick her up to take her to the hospital to visit my other roommate (still with me?), I'm not sure where she lives in astoria but I can assure you a cupcake run will be made, and what a great surprise for someone stuck in the hospital till god knows when!

Yeah i am sure your friend in astoria will know where ditmars is, and its right on the corner of 37th street so you def cant miss it. Let me know how you like it
