Re: Curious Q..
I didn't go to the bathroom once. I went right before the photographer got to my house and then not again until we got home at 2:30 am. Don't ask how I did it. I just never had to go

Re: Curious Q..
That was one of my big fears b/c I go to the bathroom A LOT. I thought I'd have to go every 10 minutes, but honestly... I didn't go all night. I went right b4 I put on the dress (had no coffee and only some water that day). Then I didn't go till it came off. You get so conumed and you forget. I know if you do have to go have your girls hold it up.

Re: Curious Q..
I had a BM hold up my dress for me. I was so scared that I would have stage fright, but it really didn't bother me. There was so much fabric that I had 'privacy' anyway.

Re: Curious Q..
I went in the morning and I didn't go once for the rest of the day until the after party.
I danced so much during the reception, I kept drinking water and water, but it never made me go.

Re: Curious Q..
My sister never went either when she got married.
I have already designated a friend to hold up my dress if I need to go

Actually, I didn't find it to be that bad. But then I didn't have a particularly huge skirt. No hoops or anything. I just sort of...went. Had to hold it up, but I didn't need help like I've heard about. I didn't want a skirt big enough that I needed help to go to the bathroom!

Re: Curious Q..
The first time, I had a BM come in with me and hold my dress...I think I went twice after that, and my new DH came with me, we kept leaving the reception area and it would take a little longer than normal for him to help. Well, guests started asking 'where we were' They thought we were off in the bridal sweet...but it was really to pee...i swear!

Re: Curious Q..
When my cousin got married. She and her mom went into the bridal suit, closed the door. Got completely out of her dress. Went to the bathroom by herself. Then her mom helped her get back into her dress. It took about 15 minutes total.

Re: Curious Q..
I was worried about the same thing, but I didnt want to miss a second of my wedding and did not go to the bathroom at all the entire night during the reception but I did go before the cocktail hour. The bridal attendant came with me, but I got into the stall by myself some how and just held my dress up high, I had thigh highs on so it was easy, and my dress was a lot to hold. Dont worry, it will be easy and Im sure there is someone there if you need her to help hold the dress...

Re: Curious Q..
I only went once- right before the ceremony and my bridal attendant helped me. She didn't see anything, just held the dress up and out of the way. I think it also helped a lot that Ididn't wear stockings.

Re: Curious Q..
I went alot during my reception...I always have to go...BM and DOC helped me (they took turns) sit on the toilet the opposite way....there is really no other way to do it...so they can hold your dress

Re: Curious Q..
I have been a BM 3 times in the last year, and at 2 of the weddings I had to hold the bride's dress up. It's not as bad as it sounds though - there's so much fabric I didn't see anything, nor was I trying to look. Trust me, the girls helping you don't want to see it anymore than you don't want them to see it!
