Curiousity....

Just wondering what the average price per person people were paying for their wedding. I know its usually not good etiquette to ask or tell for that matter, but I thought we were paying tons, just curious where we fell in with others getting married in the same area.

The entire wedding? Or just the reception? For the entire wedding I'm probably paying around $220pp (total budget divided # of guests)

For the reception I think the average is around $100pp plus tax and tip

ETA: If you do a search you can find lots of threads where people stated exactly what they are paying per head. Mr. Hostility started one and there are others too!

I am new to this and I guess they say this is a great price for what we are getting but my jaw hit the floor when he told us. EEK!!! I am such a youngin with wedding planning I feel so lost

for the reception & centerpieces it will be $85 a person....

for everything total, including video, photo, honeymoon etc...
$24,000.

For the reception we are paying about $100 per person.

If you include everything that we are paying for the wedding (including the hall) - we are paying about $275 per person.

109 per person for the eastwind, we are having 150 people, plus add the Mait-r-d fee which is 10%

I started a thread a while ago with quotes. I'll try to find if for you so it will give you a rough estimate of how things run. It was the Nassau County CH quote list.
