curl question

What are these curls/look called?? Or how do you do them??

The pic is suppose to show Julianne Hough

just my best guess but it looks like they were done using a thick curling iron maybe 2 or 3 inches around (maybe even bigger) and the stylist started them half way down the hair like ear level and probably ran her fingers thru the hair afterwards to seperate the curls more so it looks like more waves than a ringlet. also looks like she did big chunks of hair around the curling iron at once, that will give you this look as opposed to more tight curls. just my best guess.

I dont know if there is a specific name. If you are interested in that style, then your best bet is to print out the picture and bring it to the stylist, and say that is what I want done.
