Who are you using for hair? Do they do makeup too?
I'm SO FAR BEHIND on this and I keep stalling for NO REASON. I wish FH was also getting his hair and makeup did ... then we'd have already been for like 10 trials. He's a way better planner than I am ... sigh.

I am using M-I-A, and she obviously does makeup too. If she is still available for your date, I would highly recommend her. My hair is wavy/curly now that it is so long, but she was able to manage it and make nice shiny curls.

I'm having a hard time with this as well. I am going to book a trial with Giovana (formally Mia's assistant), I hope this goes well because I need to finalize something soon!
Is M*I*A available on your date? She's clearly nothing short of amazing. Rosanna Amadour is also great but I haven't heard back from her yet. Ugh.

I was thinking of M*I*A, but honestly just assumed she was already booked because it's only six months away.
Does she charge exorbitant rates?

Depends on your definition of exorbitant LOL.
I'm cheap, to a fault, and I was more than willing to pay her rates to have 'the best'. Those pictures are going to last forever, and I didn't want to look back on them and think, ugh.

Hello there...I am using Jenn from Colors in Cold Spring Harbor. She was reccommended to me from this site. I was looking for someone to cut my hair...whcih she did an awesome job with!! She's trained in Devachan...which is a big salon in the city...also the makers of Deva Curl. She's the only one on the island that has the training. You can look in my album and see how curly my hair is...I'm very picky about it. I also went to her for a trial and it came out great...I think I'm now changing the style, but that's not her fault!! I'll be going back in a few weeks for a cut and another trial. FM me if you want more info. Good Luck!!

I'm using M ia because from all the pictures that i have seen her do of past brides they all look fabulous and i know she would be able to handle my crazy hair. She does makeup also but i had already booked my makeup artist.

I am going to my everyday hair dresser I have been using for years. She knows my difficult hair, she's dealt with it for proms and parties, so I wouldn't trust anyone else as much as I trust her.

I have very curly hair and Nicole D'Angio did an amazing job, I wanted to work with my natural curl.
I go to Ouidad a salon just for curly hair and they are amazing but too expensive for the wedding day.
