So jealous! The only show they're playing here is our NPR station's big lots-of-people-palooza and it's crazy expensive and I don't want to see most of the other acts.

It's EVERY freakin band I want to see and we can't go because DMC doesn’t have anyone to watch the store

National Public Radio

But they're like half NPR, half music. Too highbrow intellectual for me, though. I listen to Stern.

I used to do Stern AND NPR in the mornings.

Thanks to them, I heard Regina Spektor two years before she made it to VH1.

Plus, Fresh Air is a really good regular show. And Radio Lab is awesome.

NPR: National Public Radio = dork kingdom - mostly talk radio but let me tell you , I have learned about some pretty random music from these guys. I love Prairie Home Comapanion, Car Talk, Wait, Wait Don't tell me, This American Life, Faith Middleton, Morning Edition, All Things Considered.

go to npr.org for more info. Lots of podcasts and stuff....

Sometimes I buy stuff from CDbaby, but mostly from emusic.com ($15/month for 65 downloads but there's no rollover of unused downloads) and from iTunes.
