Curves

I know there have been posts on here about the womens workout center 'Curves'. I just joined and finished my first 30 min workout on Sat. I love the fact that it's only 30 min long but, can it really work? (with diet of course)

Re: Curves

ive been thinking about joining curves. Ive heard it works well if youre not very in shape..like if youre already in great shape you may not get as good results. BUT ive heard some women on here say they lost a lot of inches and lbs from it. I think it's worth a shot-and 30 minutes is better than 2 hours at a gym right!

I read your poundage post and we are in the same boat. I lost all muscle tone and now my body fat % is 25. Curves claims they will help me build muscle and loose a few inches which is excalty what I want. The best part is the 30 min. 3-4 times a week.

I have been on weight watchers and going to curves for five months now. I lost 20 pounds. If you go the three times a week it really does work.

It absolutely works. Its circuit training and worked for me. I used to do this circuit training at a gym similar to Curves...its called Ladies Work Out Express. I was the most toned I had ever been in my life. I did 30 minutes 3 times for the week and some crunches here and there

Re: Curves

i did it and it definitely works. it really helped me tone-up without killiing myself. it's nice because you can do things at your own pace, which is good particularly if you're not particulraly athletic or in good shape..

the only negative thing i foudn was that sometimes i felt that it wasn't challenging enough and sometimes boring. however, a lot of Curves often offer classes where the leader leads the session and amps it up a bit. they are also very willing to work with you 1:1 if you would like that.
