custom dress?

do any of you girls know a seamstress who makes wedding dresses?

i love love love love my dress
but its sooooooo expensive

someone brought up the idea of getting someone to make it...i wouldnt trust just anyone

and i would want someone well known with lots of experience

any one out there know anyone?

No 100% sure if this place makes custom dresses but I thought I saw a bride say she had her dress made by them

did you look at the maggie dresses ? She has soo many gorgeous ones that are very inexpensive!!

Mine is custom but her dresses are expensive but I dont know how expensive your orig dress is.

Try calling the woman who is altering my dress. Her name is Antoinette and she owns a cleaners in Glendale. I'm not 100% sure she makes gowns, but she's been doing this for 40 years so I'm thinking she might. It's worth a shot. She came highly recommended from my moms coworker who has used her for years. She seems to always be in the shop so her hours may be flexible to accommodate your schedule as well.

i would try etsy. i know people sell original dresses they;ve made on there and some say that they can work with you and create your perfect dress.

If you're not so intent on the dress being made by that designer, you could try one of those sites that sells the knockoffs for like $300. I had read that a lot of the major dress designers outsource to China and these factories also make the knockoffs, so they will be pretty close. It's kinda risky but it's only a few hundred bucks.

I had my dress custom made. Here it is.....


I also had my MOB dress, bridesmaid dresses, flowergirl dress, and veil custom made as well.

I'm getting my dress at Adriennes and it's one of their designs, so it's being made custo to me. maybe if you bring them a picture of what you wnat they can replicate it, or see if they have a similar style.

Try Angel's bridal in East Islip. I know of someone who got their dress custom made there.

Try Solotu in Saint James. Before I found my dress I met with her to get info on having something made custom. She is seriously one of the sweetest girls I have ever met.
