custom made jewelry

hey ladies! so i have been dreaming of a specific wedding band for years. i found it online, but its out of my price range. one of the main reasons is that it is an eternity band, and i don't need that!

does anyone know of a reputable jewelers that will create a ring from a picture? i just want to price it out and see if its possible. not to be too picky, but preferably someone with a website so i can do this over email!

TIA!!

GoodOldGold (on LI) www.goodoldgold.com

Excel Jewelers (diamond district) www.exceldiamonds.com

also, if you want to order online and avoid tax, Whiteflash (Texas i believe) www.whiteflash.com

all 3 are very reputable places

Hahah happy to help. You should also check out Pricescope.com they have a lot of very knowledgeable people and that is where FH and I learned all about diamonds, etc. The ladies there do a lot of buying from those vendors because they give much better prices than what they call 'brick and mortar' shops (with lots of overhead and advertising costs). These places have real stores but do a lot of business online.

We originally looked at local shops for my e-ring, but then compared the prices for equivalent stones (GIA certed, etc) and there was a HUGE HUGE difference. We ended up ordering from Excel (the owner emailed back and forth with my FH, sent him pictures of the stones, described them in person, etc) and we had it sent to us at our apt OOT to avoid sales tax. I highly recommend them! We were going to go to their diamond district location for my wedding band (I wanted to try it on in person to see how it fit next to my low-set e-ring) but I ended up stumbling across a band I loved elsewhere.

Check out pricescope though, they are great!
