Custom Made Wedding Dresses For $100?

Ok ladies, I came across this store on ebay and am not sure what to make of them..

I was initially looking for flowergirl dresses then found they had alot of wedding dresses. They even make all the dresses to YOUR size!
And most for only $100 .. Ok, so they are based in China and since they custom made the dress to your size, I don't think you can return them, but hey for $100, make me 10 dresses! :D

And why don't the american manufacturers make the dress to our size anyway? It makes me incensed to think that it'll cost me 1000s to buy a wedding dress I'll only wear for 5 hours, I'll also have to pay 100s to alter it, and wait half a year for it, and I can't even return the dress if I discover I don't like it. What kind of customer service is that?

So back to Kanacca.... Has anyone heard of them? They have great reviews on ebay and have been prompt in answering my emails.... Should I take a chance and have them make my dream dress for $100?

I'm curious about this too...it must be a scam...but then again, maybe it's just sweat shop labor and who wants to suppot that?

David's has $99 dress sales periodically, I wonder what the quality difference would be?

I think the thing I noticed the most between lower cost dresses and higher cost dresses were the seams and closures. The zipper on the back wasn't as streamlined and the seams were more noticeable.

I researched abit further and found that they do try to duplicate your dress but the quality isn't necessarily the best and you really have to ask them what material they use... it's sorta like buying an imitation handbag. :(

I'm abit disappointed at seeing pics of their version of a sample dress they try to duplicate. Oh well... you do get what you pay for.

Oh, I actually asked david's bridal about their 99 bucks sale and alot of the sales people were honest with me when I mentioned it. They said it's basicaly a bunch of floor samples that have been tried countless times.

I wonder if they are just trying to discourage me from waiting for the $99 sale so I'll pay full price. :(

I was informed when I went to pick up my dress from davids bridals that they are an off the rack store, and even when paying full price they might give you a sample dress that had been tried on countless times! I say if you know what you are getting, a dress that has been worn and that is ok with you, wait for the sale!
