Custom Menus for your RH...time-frame ?

I keep seeing all these threads about DIY menus and ordering custom menus for the dinner at The RH..How do you guys already know what the food selections are so many months in advance? I was told by my RH that my appointment to make the Menu selection is only 3 months before my wedding day.

Did you ladies move your appointment earlier? I plan to do Custom Menus too but I need time to do them..how can I do all that work only 2 months before the big day? Is that what everyone is doing?

Sorry for the dumb question..I am having THAT kind of day.

you can either move the appointment early OR just come up with a menu template and fill in the correct foods after your tasting (and print it then, obviously)

The RH usually provides you a menu when you book with them or when you're considering them. If you know your menu already and your RH honors that menu, you can create your menu.
We had our final details meeting 2.5 months before our wedding. I had an idea of what we wanted so I started the menu. After that meeting, I printed. It didn't change that much either.
