I bought a 10lb bag for about $230 dollars. I suggest that you call customer service to place your order b/c you'll end up buying millions of the 8oz. bags. But if you tell them that you want to purchase the 10lb bag in the business section.. it works out better and cheaper. I remember paying way over $150 for 8 8oz. bags and when they came they came crushed/damaged. So I called customer service and I told them to take back the m&m's and just give me back my money.. that the 8 8oz. bags are enough anyway. the rep. said then I can purchase the 10lb business bag. hth!

We are putting them in our OOT boxes...I bought heart favor boxes from AC Moore and I am going to fill those...I am also doing 1/2 customized and 1/2 reg to cut costs...

We did them as favors for our Engagement Party.
To keep the costs down a bit, we used 3 dfiferent colors but only 1 color was personalized.

Anyone have any idea of the quantitly I would need if I am having around 200 people at my wedding?
I don't know what a normal size box would be... I need lots of help!!

We used boxes that were 2 inch cubes, they seemed to be the 'right' size ... I don't know if I'd go too much bigger than that.

Just got them a few weeks ago for my Eparty this weekend. My colors are light blue and brown the blue ones are the only ones that could have writting and that was fine we put Victoria & Steven and Lifetime of Love. We are giving them out as favors we are putting them in boxes that we got from Michael's 100 for $10.00 they are off white and I got a brown stamp pad and a few stamps even one that said Thank you and decorated the boxes. It looks so cute I will post pics soon.

i'm having 200+ and I ordered the 10lb bag.. and it was more than enough.. but that also depends on the size of the container that you're putting them in?
