I am looking for a jeweler who makes custom wedding bands. We have the diamonds and just need the band made. We have a picture of the exact ring that we would like made.
Thanks.

Re: Custom Wedding Band
Actually we just took back our deposit today because we felt she was not capable of making my wedding band. She even tried to pass off a generic ring as the band I wanted. She came as a referral to me but I would never refer her to anyone I know. She had my diamonds for 4 months and didn't come up with anything but a generic mold. Someone who is a custom designer would be able to turn around a ring in a matter of a couple of weeks.

Re: Custom Wedding Band
Hey ladies, my fiance had my e-ring custom made, and our friend brought in a picture of a tacori ring and they made the exact ring..they are really great and they are custom building my wedding band...they are making a mold of my e-ring and everything.
He's in the flea market in sayville right off of sunrise, i have to ask my FH for the name and everything...be warned that it looks kinda sketchy but he was recommended by all of fh's friends and he only uses certified diamonds...def the real deal..
FM if you want the exact details since i have to ask FH!
We have a jeweler friend that we really like but, was so high priced.....went to Milano (Tri-County Flea Market) we have bought quite a few things from Joseph....I wanted a certain band with diamonds...he didn't have what i wanted.....made it for me.....it's amazing and perfect....he knew exactly what i wanted. His prices are very fair and does wonderful work. Worth to go and talk with him. If you want his # FM me.

Re: Custom Wedding Band
I guess you can say mine was custom made. Nothing matched my ring or fit my finger that would line up with my ring, So i went to my jeweler in Tri County that i have been using forever, and they made one for me! The name of the place is called Gabriels, when you get upstairs from the escalator, basically turn slight right and walk straight toward the corner. They are right in front of the stores that are along the wall. They are super nice. The also have a store in the Diamond District in the city if thats closer to you.

Sorry you had such a terrible experience with Elsa's. They made my ring and I love it- It is exactly what I wanted but I had about 4 consultation meetings with them which I expected one after each step of the process was complete as well as an initial consult. The wax mold was nothing to get excited about b/c it did not have the detail but my ring is amazing. They do take a long time but I do not think it is lack of ability rather too many jobs.

Re: Custom Wedding Band
we also had a few problems with elsa, but we're still having ours made through them... since the last issue (where FH and I caused a bit of a scene) we haven't had any problems.. (knock on wood)... but he and I are hesitant to recommend them, I mean they do make beautiful jewelery but at first Elsa was hard for us to work with, we had a major issue with her, while her husband (stephan) apologized for their mistake, then we had a problem with HIM and she called to apologize and make it up to us. the last time we were there Stephan said hello to us (we used to work with him and only him) as he passed us and helped another couple he was with, Elsa excused herself from the couple she was with to come over and say hello to us and make sure we were happy. so she's starting to grow a little on me (although I am still a little miffed at her) but FH still can't stand her.
so if you were planning on using them, be sure to get a feel for them before you sign anything, and make sure EVERYTHING is in writing.
