I can't even tell you how many restaurants I looked at for our E-Party, either the food ******, the room wasn't great, the price wasn't right, not enough room, date wasn't open, the list goes on and on....Then I would find a place we loved but the person would be nasty!!!! I refuse to give my business to someone who is completely rude, there's no need for it!! Don't you want the business? I couldn't believe that finding a restaurant was more difficult than booking our wedding!
Finally today we booked and I'm really happy, but more relieved, what a process that was!!!! Sorry just had to vent

We booked at Bella Verde, they were fantastic and were able to give us exactly what we needed with a smile hahah :)

O yea! We actually didn't go to a few halls that I had made appointments with when we were looking cause they were rude or nasty on the phone. One we actually turned around and went home 1/2 way there. I live in Brooklyn and was only looking at halls in Long Island and thanks to the lovely Belt Parkway we were stuck in horrible horrible traffic, we had given ourselves over an hour to get there but needless to say it was far worse then usual. SO when I called and told them our problem and asked if I should just reschedule totally she actually sighed and said 'whatever'
when will people realize 'you catch more flies with sugar' being alil polite can go a looong way

I completely agree...especially all things wedding related, aka the happiest day of my life, I want to surround myself with people (read: vendors) who have a good vibe and aren't going to be nasty/rude/obnoxious and ruin my good vibe for the day.

I completely agree! I ran into this problem when I was planning my e-party.. it amazed me the amount of RUDE people i came across.
